A statewide network of Community Action Agencies provides Emergency Services, including: food and meals, shelter, rental assistance, and motel vouchers.

Visit 211 Washington for information about rent assistance, shelters, reporting damage, waste removal and disposal, and other resources in your county.

Washington’s Governor has a page of Wildfire resources, including:

Disaster Cash Assistance Program (DCAP): Eligible Washington residents affected by wildfires can apply for emergency cash assistance to help meet immediate needs. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply for DCAP from WA Department of Social and Health Services.

Food benefits replacement: People who lost food bought with benefits may be able to replace some or all of its value. Learn more from WA Department of Social and Health Services. 

Help for homeowners

If you qualify for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) this year and live in a wildfire impacted county, these agencies may also be able to help with energy and utility bills, weatherization and home repairs, and air purifiers.
